About RElab

Goldacre, with Noé Group and Capreon, is excited to announce RElab, an accelerator focused on technology-led innovation with application in the built environment. We are looking for amazing companies from all over the world that are using technology to change the physical world we live and work in.

Leveraging 40 years’ experience in real estate and investment, RElab will be a mentor-led programme giving start-ups the opportunity to validate their products; pilot innovations in the built environment; and pitch for investment.

Over 12 weeks you’ll be given the opportunity to work with us and our partners to shape your ideas. We will provide direct access to real estate testing environments and to tenants, retailers, property managers and customers.

Successful participants will have the opportunity to work with mentors from our management team and will interact directly with senior advisors and key stakeholders across our business and networks.

The RElab 12-week programme will be based in London and will be run in collaboration with corporate innovation specialist L Marks.

We are looking for exceptional and passionate founders with disruptive ideas primarily in the areas of:

  • Urban logistics
  • Smart buildings
  • Rethinking physical retail in a digital world
  • Digital real estate transaction platforms

Areas of interest

Urban logistics

We are interested in technology-led innovation relating to warehousing and delivery logistics. We are looking for solutions that can drive significant and sustainable efficiencies around the use of increasingly scarce urban logistics space. We aim to find tech applications that can help our retail tenants to optimise for challenges related to last mile delivery and micro fulfilment.

Smart buildings

We want to harness the potential of technology to enable asset and property managers to deliver building services and manage facilities more efficiently and cost effectively. We are also interested in technologies that support asset managers to understand levels of engagement from their tenants and predict how spaces are used.

Rethinking physical retail in a digital world

We are excited by innovative approaches that re-think the omnichannel customer journey by linking the online and offline worlds to create a seamless and memorable shopping experience. We are also looking for technologies that enable agile, dynamic and responsive curation of physical space for retailers and consumers.

Digital real estate transaction platforms

We are looking for technologies that can improve the exchange of information, help to make transaction chains frictionless and improve the different stages of the transaction process, including due diligence, financing, valuation, sale, purchase and asset management. We are interested in collaborative platforms that can support multiple parties to access and store documents, find key information and track progress, as well as blockchain solutions that increase transparency and security.
